What we get called for

Six reasons the phone rings.

01

Trees down

Storm work. Trees already on the ground, limbs hung up in the lines, a branch leaning on the roof. One customer had two down at once.

02

Trees that need to come out

Removal, whole or in sections. Three in a day is normal, and the trimming on whatever is staying gets done in the same visit.

03

Ground you cannot walk through

Brush and overgrowth clearing. A customer called their back yard an overgrown mop of poison ivy before the crew got into it.

04

Land that needs opening up

Land clearing and forestry work, with tracked machinery on site.

05

The mess afterwards

Debris cleaned up and hauled away, and the bad spots smoothed out so the mower is not fighting them next season.

06

The ordinary weeks

Complete outdoor lawn care and landscaping, plus retaining walls and patios.

Storm work

Trees do not wait for office hours.

One of the photographs above was taken at night, at somebody’s house, with a limb hung up in the lines. That is the honest version of what open 24 hours means.

Another customer had two trees come down at once, plus a large branch leaning over the roof. The branch is the part that keeps people awake, and it was dealt with in the same visit.

On the job

Machinery on site, and flat ground after.

Two separate jobs, both photographed on the day. Not stock, and not the same property.

A tracked skid steer on a cleared lot beside a large felled trunk
A trunk down in sections, with the machine still on site. This is what a full crew turning up with equipment actually looks like.
Graded, cleared ground with machine tracks against a tree line
A different job, finished. Cleared and graded back to ground you can walk across and mow.
“Left the job very clean and actually show up when they say they will. Employees where very kind and respectful, professional.”

Who turns up

Ask for Shane.

A customer new to St. Joseph wrote that Shane was their first call, even as a stranger in town, and that once Shane had seen the yard the job got under way without delay.

What arrived was a full crew with machinery, on a hot summer day. A day and a half later, about 40 percent of that back yard had been handed back.

Hunter’s Lawn Care & Tree Service did an excellent job helping me after two trees fell down recently. They were very friendly, stayed in touch throughout the process, and worked quickly to clean up and haul away the debris. They even took care of a large branch leaning over the house, which gave me real peace of mind.

… left the yard clean of debris and even smoothed out some bad spots that were a pain when I was mowing. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.
